The Ira C. Reed Public Library is located at 302 Commercial Street in the scenic town of LaFayette, Illinois. The Ira C. Reed Public Library provides free services to all residents living within the LaFayette city boundaries with services available to all others for a fee.

To encourage young people to develop an interest in reading and learning, and to collect and make available library materials to serve the informational, educational and leisure needs of the community.
